Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, conducting market research, analyzing industry trends, and supporting the development of strategic partnerships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze internal and external market trends to identify new opportunities for business growth.
  • Research potential business opportunities based on the company's strategic objectives.
  • Identify and track leads, evaluating their potential and maintaining a detailed opportunity database.
  • Connect with potential clients, understanding their needs, and fostering strong relationships.
  • Conduct meetings and lead discovery calls with prospective clients, introducing technical expertise to decision-makers.
  • Develop and execute winning capture plans, including competitive analysis and capabilities gap assessments.
  • Assist in determining price-to-win strategies and overall win strategies.
  • Lead proposal efforts, contributing to technical and cost narratives, ensuring compliance, competitiveness, and executability.
  • Prepare and present status reports, lead business development meetings, and track action items.
  • Populate and maintain the opportunity pipeline database, generating regular reports for management review.
Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; Master of Business Administration (MBA) preferred.

5-10 years of industry experience, with a minimum of 3 years in business development in the renewable energy sector.

Experience with bidding on government contracts and knowledge of relevant regulations.

Proficiency in integrated business management and CRM software, including ProWorkflow and Salesforce.

Strong understanding of business development processes and sales strategies.

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong customer relations.

Ability to analyze market trends, identify profitable business opportunities, and advise on strategic partnerships.

Self-motivated, highly responsive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Clear communication and excellent writing skills.
