Our Amphibious Warfare Division plays a crucial role in supporting U.S. Navy amphibious operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide installation, troubleshooting, repair, and operational testing support for Air Search Radar Systems on LPD 17 Class vessels.

- Review, enhance, and create testing protocols for shipboard evaluations related to Combat Systems.

- Assist in the development and revision of Suitability Plans, and formulate test objectives, scenarios, plans, reports, and presentations.

- Maintain effective communication with government project teams, production teams, and shipbuilders.

- Oversee the installation of Combat Systems in a new construction shipyard setting.

- Identify and analyze performance issues with the Air Search Radar System, isolating problems to hardware, software, or specific interfaces during evaluations.

- Draft and submit software issue reports detailing performance discrepancies against established requirements.

- Actively participate as a team member in troubleshooting, training, and scenario evaluations.

Qualifications:

To excel in this position, you will need:
- A High School Diploma or GED along with 5+ years of relevant experience in naval combat systems.

Work experience may be adjusted based on educational background or specialized knowledge applicable to positions involving new technologies or labor market demands.

- The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance after employment.

- Experience in installation, troubleshooting, repair, and operational testing of Air Search Radar Systems on LPD 17 Class vessels.

- Skills in reviewing, updating, and developing test procedures for shipboard evaluations related to Combat Systems.

- Experience in developing and updating Suitability Plans, as well as creating test objectives, scenarios, plans, reports, and presentations.

- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with U.S. government project teams, production teams, and shipbuilders.

- Experience in monitoring the installation of Combat Systems in a new construction shipyard environment.

- Ability to identify performance issues with the Air Search Radar System and isolate them to hardware, software, or specific interfaces during testing.

- Experience in drafting and submitting software trouble reports that describe performance issues compared to requirements.

- Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Additional Preferred Experience and Skills:
- A Bachelor's degree is preferred, though candidates with technical school backgrounds or military certifications will be considered.

- Proficiency in effective communication with Navy and shipyard teams, both verbally and in written reports and presentations using Microsoft Office products.

- Familiarity with rotating and phased array radar systems.

- Experience with combat systems and weapon systems, particularly AN/SPY or AMDR Radar Systems.
