Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Execute Business Development Strategies: Identify new business opportunities, evaluate potential partnerships, and formulate long-term plans to drive growth and expansion.
- Market Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, competitor analysis, and customer needs to inform business development strategies.
- Sales Team Leadership: Collaborate with the sales team to develop sales strategies, set revenue targets, and drive business growth. Provide guidance and support to sales teams in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
- Client and Partner Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, customers, and partners to enhance business development opportunities.
- Team Management: Lead and manage a team of business development professionals, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to team members, setting performance goals, and monitoring progress.
- Financial Analysis: Evaluate the financial feasibility and viability of potential business opportunities, conducting financial analysis, including cost-benefit analysis, revenue projections, and risk assessments to inform decision-making.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments, including marketing, product development, operations, and finance, to align business development strategies with overall company goals and objectives.
Requirements:
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to think critically, problem solve effectively, and recommend strategically about sales and new business development.
- Leadership Experience: Demonstrated ability to direct and develop, review and implement strategic plans and initiatives for the sales program.
- Communication Skills: Ability to listen carefully, communicate effectively both in writing and verbally, and establish strong and effective working relationships with multiple teams servicing multiple industries, a broad variety of clients, and stakeholders.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in business or other related field, or equivalent experience. Extensive experience in business development, sales, or strategic planning is essential.
