Job Summary:
We are seeking a Patient Transporter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting patients to and from medical facilities, as well as providing assistance with patient care. This is a full-time position that requires a valid Arizona State driver's license, a clean driving record, and the ability to lift a minimum of 125 pounds.
Responsibilities:
Transport patients to and from medical facilities
Provide assistance with patient care, including transferring patients from home to facility, facility to facility, or facility to home
Follow directions and use map software accurately
Perform all related duties as assigned, including transporting patients in a safe and professional manner
Communicate with dispatch to receive relevant data and instructions
Maintain a professional behavior and attitude towards customers, visitors, and coworkers
Requirements:
Valid Arizona State driver's license
Ability to lift a minimum of 125 pounds
High School Diploma or equivalent
CPR certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
Ability to pass DOT drug test, DOT Physical & background checks
Preferred Qualifications:
1+ year experience in non-emergency transport
2+ year customer service experience
Bilingual is a plus
