Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist PRN to join our team. As a key member of our interventional radiology team, you will assist interventionalists in all procedures within the scope of interventional radiology and vascular surgery, including oncology, vascular, and trauma cases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist interventionalists in all procedures within the scope of interventional radiology and vascular surgery
  • Maintain a skill set to handle supplies and instrumentation associated with interventional procedures
  • Assist physicians as a scrub and circulating technologist
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, reporting maintenance issues and monitoring supplies and deficiencies
  • Adhere to all Infection Prevention policies and utilize appropriate PPE
  • Maintain licensure and BLS certification, staying current with departmental training
  • Demonstrate courteous behavior and positive attitude through polite communication with coworkers and customers
  • Provide good customer service, both internal and external
  • Participate in clinical activities, such as assisting with patient flow and care, and optimizing throughput of patients via Radiology Transport
  • Remain compliant with timekeeping rules and adhere to Departmental procedures, fulfilling compliance with life safety, fire, and hazardous waste, Radiation Safety, and Infection Prevention requirements
  • Attend staff meetings and review daily huddles to stay current on department communications
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology or Cardiovascular Interventional Technology preferred
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved program for Diagnostic Radiology and registry eligible
  • NJ DEP license required upon hire
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification
