Permanent Full-Time Diesel Technician Opportunity

We are immediately hiring a skilled Diesel Technician to support our Truck Fleet at Ryder in Savage, MD.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance, including oil changes, brake and tire work.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic computers.
  • Perform facility maintenance duties and interact with customers/drivers to determine the nature of complaints.
  • Perform other support duties as required to support operations.
Requirements:
  • Two years or more of a combination of classroom training and work experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines.
  • Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) CLASS A, preferred.
  • Ability to obtain CDL within 6 months after hire.
Benefits:
  • Average weekly pay: $1200.
  • Hourly pay: $21.00 per hour.
  • Monday – Friday schedule with weekends off.
