About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DC Operations Lead to join our team at Benjamin Moore & Co. This is a critical role that requires a strong leader who can oversee the daily operations of our distribution center, ensuring that all orders are fulfilled on time and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operations of the distribution center, including inbound and outbound processing, inventory management, and shipping and receiving.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity, while maintaining high levels of quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead and manage a team of warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and coaching to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and customer service, to ensure that customer needs are met and that all orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address any issues that arise.
  • Ensure that all safety protocols and procedures are followed, and that the warehouse is maintained in a clean and organized manner.
  • Develop and implement training programs to ensure that all staff are equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Provide regular feedback and coaching to staff to help them improve their performance and achieve their goals.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment, with a strong background in operations and leadership.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address issues quickly and effectively.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Physical ability to lift, bend, and stand for long periods of time, with the ability to work in a warehouse environment.
