Work Schedule:
This position typically operates Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, totaling 40 hours per week. Evening work may be required, particularly during peak reporting periods.


Role Overview:
The Financial Analyst II will independently conduct comprehensive reporting and analysis for various aspects of commercial performance, focusing on revenue, margin, and operating expenses.


Key Responsibilities:
- Support the budgeting and forecasting processes while developing analytical tools and frameworks.
- Enhance the accuracy and integrity of existing reporting and data management systems, utilizing Business Warehouse and SQL.
- Contribute innovative ideas for the development of new reporting methods for management.
- Assist in the analysis and reporting processes for the global commercial organization, particularly in the Americas and Asia.
- Ensure proficiency in systems to facilitate accurate reporting and assist in creating new tracking tools.
- Complete internal control activities related to revenue recognition and customer margin analysis.
- Organize and facilitate periodic review meetings to communicate necessary journal entries to the accounting team.
- Aid in the preparation of recurring and ad hoc financial reports for management.
- Collaborate with commercial and operational teams on the semi-annual global sales and margin budgeting process and periodic forecasts.
- Monitor business line performance against budget and other metrics, analyzing the impact of Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) compared to prior standards.
- Develop training materials and templates for new processes and reporting tools.


Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from an accredited institution is required; a Master’s degree (M.B.A.) is preferred.
- 2-3 years of experience in financial reporting and analysis is essential.
- Familiarity with relational databases such as Power BI and SQL is required.
- Advanced Excel skills are preferred.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment with relevant financial reporting and analysis experience is advantageous.
