Overview
Soliant, a renowned healthcare organization, is seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to join our team. As an integral member of our therapy department, you will work closely with licensed Speech-Language Pathologists to deliver exceptional care to students with communication disorders.

About the Role
This challenging yet rewarding position requires a minimum of 1+ years of experience in speech therapy. You will be responsible for collaborating with our Speech-Language Pathologists to implement treatment plans and interventions that address speech, language, and communication goals. Your expertise will help students achieve optimal outcomes, and your dedication will make a tangible difference in their lives.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to gather relevant information about students' speech and language abilities under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
- Provide individual or group therapy sessions to students, utilizing various therapeutic techniques and exercises to improve speech production, articulation, language comprehension, and expressive language skills
- Monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure the best possible results
- Teach students and their family strategies and techniques to enhance social communication skills and improve communication outside of therapy sessions

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field
- Current certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) from a recognized certifying organization
- Previous experience working with individuals with communication disorders is preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
