Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with essential personnel to address challenges related to the operational fleet, particularly focusing on maintenance and readiness management.
  • Establish a formalized process for collecting sustainment IT functional requirements from weapon system program offices.
  • Enhance logistics forecasting and analytical methodologies, tools, databases, and processes.
Conditions of Employment

Applicants must be U.S. citizens and deemed suitable for federal employment. Participation in the direct deposit pay program is mandatory. New hires will undergo the E-Verify employment verification process.

Qualifications

To qualify, candidates must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH-3 grade level in federal service or comparable experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience should include:

  1. Expertise in logistics and operational data information systems to assess factors influencing fleet readiness and operating/support costs.
  2. In-depth understanding of aviation logistics IT support systems and the ability to capture significant data for performance measurement.
  3. Experience in structuring, planning, assigning, and evaluating task accomplishments.
  4. Comprehensive knowledge of analytical methods for weapon systems and subsystems, including their physical and performance characteristics.
  5. A solid grasp of the interrelationships between logistics requirements and other professional disciplines to resolve complex issues and provide informed alternatives to enhance readiness.
