Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on hydraulic, mechanical, and instrumentation systems, including machine centers.
  • Utilize internal and external resources to solve operational problems related to the above systems.
  • Work with more experienced technicians to resolve operational problems with production machinery and equipment in the most expedient and cost-effective manner.
  • Document mechanical or electrical problems and escalate concerns to higher-level technicians.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in industrial, mechanical, or electrical manufacturing experience required, or 3 years machine repair experience preferred.
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with others in the organization.
  • Ability to work in and contribute to a positive team atmosphere.
  • Solid ability to read and use mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic schematics.
  • Solid understanding of customer service techniques and displays an urgency to meet customer requirements.
