Candidates should be flexible to work across various departments, including: Harvest Room, Dissection, Fixation, Selection & Evaluation, Valve Assembly, Solution Treatment, and Packaging & Labeling. The 1st shift operates from 5am to 1:30pm, with the Dissection department commencing at 4:45am.

Technicians will be responsible for tasks involving pig hearts, which include cutting materials, utilizing microscopes/magnifying glasses, assembling components, sewing, dipping in solutions, and packaging/labeling.

All operations are conducted in a cleanroom setting, necessitating full gowning (no cosmetics or jewelry). Candidates should be prepared for the presence of formaldehyde odors.

Key responsibilities encompass executing both repetitive and non-repetitive production assembly tasks, following various visual aids and instructions, establishing initial layouts, employing diverse tools, performing continuity checks, conducting quality inspections, and potentially engaging in experimental or prototype assemblies.

This position supports manufacturing functions, which include assembly, machinery operation, processing, packaging, and distribution of products. Responsibilities may also extend to machine operation, reporting malfunctions, and participating in shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
