Job Description

Westminster, a luxury senior living community in central Austin, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team.

Job Summary

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining the physical plant and building, conducting preventative maintenance, and performing routine service, seasonal repairs, and changes to electrical and plumbing systems.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC work
  • Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure the smooth operation of building systems
  • Respond to maintenance requests and perform repairs as needed
  • Work with vendors and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective repairs
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC work
  • Extensive knowledge of building systems and maintenance procedures
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
