A well-equipped maintenance specialist is essential for effectively addressing various maintenance tasks. The ability to comprehend and follow both verbal and written instructions is crucial, along with the capacity to foster positive working relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with residents to identify, troubleshoot, repair, and resolve issues related to electrical systems, plumbing, heating and cooling systems, appliances, and general building maintenance.
Essential Skills:
- Plumbing: Proficient in the repair, replacement, or installation of faucets, pipes, water heaters, toilets, and various kitchen appliances.
- Electrical: Capable of repairing, replacing, or installing switches, outlets, lighting fixtures, and climate control systems.
- Drywall Repair: Skilled in patching small holes and repairing minor damages typically occurring between tenant transitions.
- Painting: Experienced in performing touch-ups and applying fresh coats of paint in vacated units.
- Appliance Repair: Knowledgeable in the maintenance and repair of major household appliances, including refrigerators, ovens, and air conditioning units.
- Grounds Maintenance: Responsible for landscaping tasks such as mowing, weeding, and general upkeep of outdoor areas.
- Cleaning Services: Maintain cleanliness in shared community spaces and prepare vacated units for new residents.
Must possess authorization to work in the United States.
