Job Summary

Eaton is seeking a Senior Sales Manager to lead our IT Distributed Infrastructure business in Chicago, IL. This role involves full leadership of Eaton's Datacenter and IT go-to-market strategy within CDW, with a focus on growing sales through strategic partnerships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies and programs for Eaton's Critical Power and Distributed IT (CPDI) products, services, and adjacent Datacenter product lines.
  • Lead a team of sales professionals to achieve profit targets, optimize product mix, and maximize margins.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for CDW, fostering key relationships and providing sales and technical support to ensure Eaton's solutions are top of mind within their sales organization.
  • Work closely with channel, distribution, sales leadership, product marketing/management, and marketing communications to refine Eaton's value propositions and tools.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the electrical and/or IT industry.
  • Minimum 2 years of manager of people experience.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US on an ongoing basis without company sponsorship.
  • Possess and maintain a valid and unrestricted driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering.
  • MBA or Advanced degree.
  • 10 years of experience in sales, technical support, or marketing.
