Job Title: Senior Development Engineer

At MAHLE, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Development Engineer to lead our engine performance and emissions development projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering high-quality results that meet our customers' expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead engine performance and emissions development projects, including gasoline and diesel engine testing on an engine dynamometer test bed.
  • Conduct detailed thermodynamic analysis of engine performance and emissions test results, prepare technical reports, papers, and presentations based on those results.
  • Develop and implement engine performance and emissions development and durability programs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project budget, timing, and quality requirements are met.
  • Prepare project reports, presentations, and technical documents for management, clients, and potential clients.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, automotive, or equivalent engineering field.
  • At least six years of related experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of internal combustion engines and testing techniques.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills and presentation/public speaking skills.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard calibration tools and advanced plotting packages.
