Student Admissions Counselor I

UCF's Student Success and Well-Being Office of Undergraduate Admissions is seeking a highly motivated and organized Student Admissions Counselor I to join our team. As a key member of our recruitment team, you will play a critical role in assisting with the overall operation of the Office of Undergraduate Admissions.
Responsibilities:- Work closely with the recruitment team to develop and implement enrollment and marketing plans for the university, including recruitment, application review, territory management, and travel for specific territories or target markets.
- Assist in planning, organizing, and implementing recruitment activities directly related to targeted groups, including Decision Days, Open Houses, college fairs, and high school visits both face-to-face and virtual.
- Represent the university at public and private high school/college visitations, college nights, and panel presentations to parents, students, and other constituent populations.
- Review and evaluate admission applications and academic credentials, computing high school and college GPAs in compliance with state and university admission standards.
- Rend admission decisions on these applications and maintain accurate enrollment figures of targeted groups for university information and annual reports.
- Work closely with on-campus offices and departments that impact the recruitment of students to ensure admissions and enrollment processes are followed and information is conveyed to meet university enrollment goals.
- Bachelor's degree and 0+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat.
- Previous experience in admissions is preferred.
