About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Admissions Specialist to join our team at AdventHealth University. As an Admissions Specialist, you will play a critical role in cultivating, evaluating, and admitting students to our institution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute the cultivation, evaluation, and admissions processes for students in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Own and document communication processes with leads, applicants, and stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and tone.
  • Collaborate with Data Processing Specialists to ensure timely document processing and completion of applicant files.
  • Coordinate with Student Experience Managers to ensure a smooth transition for accepted students.
  • Regularly report to the Director of Admissions on meeting established benchmarks and KPIs.
  • Collaborate with Financial Services, Student Experience, and Office of the Registrar teams to ensure a seamless student journey.
  • Prepare regular reports on admission status and characteristics of incoming cohorts of students.
International Student Responsibilities
  • Support day-to-day compliance of international students.
  • Recommend or assist in developing policies and procedures governing F-1 and J-1 international students.
  • May serve as Designated School Official (DSO) and/or Alternate Responsible Officer (ARO), maintaining Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) and related certification requirements.
Qualifications
  • Associate Degree in Business, Psychology, or related field.
  • 1 or more years of experience in higher education admissions processes, customer service, and communication strategies.
