Overview:


Supports the management of the company's financial records and assists in the preparation of daily and monthly accounting entries and financial statements.

Aids in the upkeep of the organization's electronic accounting systems and collaborates with departments to provide various account reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities:
Evaluates financial transactions to ensure adherence to established accounting principles.
Assists in the generation of monthly financial reports.
Facilitates daily cash reporting and reconciles cash receipts across different ledger systems.
Prepares journal entries and account reconciliations to guarantee that account balances are accurate and reliable.
Conducts essential financial analyses that are vital for the formulation of company-wide strategic plans.
Contributes to the preparation of year-end schedules as required.
Complies with company guidelines for safeguarding confidential and financial information.
Performs additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
0-3 years of experience in accounting roles.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Understanding of accounting principles and financial operations.
Familiarity with basic management information systems for accounting and bookkeeping (experience with Sage MAS 200 is advantageous).
Knowledge of accrual and cash basis accounting.
High proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Ability to perform complex accounting and financial data analysis.
Capable of managing multiple assignments simultaneously while prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
Skilled in examining and verifying financial documents and reports.
Proficient in analyzing and preparing various financial reports.
Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within teams.
Dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit and stand for extended periods.
Capability to navigate across various departments.
Excellent hand-eye coordination.
Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
Manual dexterity for operating personal computers and standard office equipment.
Communication Skills:
Ability to transfer information accurately between paper and computer systems and communicate effectively in person and over the phone.
