Job SummaryWe are seeking a Trust Tax Senior Associate or Associate to join our Tax practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing tax services to clients, including fiduciary, charitable, and information reporting returns.
Key Responsibilities- Focus on fiduciary, charitable, and information reporting returns
- Use tax preparation software, including Thomson Reuters OneSource Trust Tax platform
- Work with senior associates and managers on a variety of assigned projects
- Analyze, prepare, and review tax workpapers and returns, estimated payments, and extensions
- Respond to inquiries from the IRS and other taxing authorities
- Keep up to date on tax technical developments
- Minimum one year of recent public accounting and/or tax experience
- Bachelors and/or masters degree from an accredited college or university in business, accounting, finance, taxation, mathematics, economics, information technology, data and analytics, engineering, or related fields
- Must have or be pursuing the state-specific education requirements to be a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA)
- Demonstrated quality service mindset, strong technical aptitude, critical thinking skills, and ability to navigate MS Office applications
- Excellent communication, time management, and leadership skills
