About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiology Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Ascension Saint Thomas Heart. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our physicians and staff to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive care to patients with cardiovascular conditions, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of heart disease.
  • Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Conduct thorough physical exams, take medical histories, and order diagnostic tests as needed.
  • Prescribe medications and treatments as authorized by state law and hospital policy.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in cardiology and cardiovascular medicine.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A Master's degree in Nursing and a current APRN license in the state of Tennessee.
  • Experience working in a cardiology setting, preferably in a hospital or clinical environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
