About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiology Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Ascension Saint Thomas Heart. As a key member of our cardiovascular care team, you will provide exceptional patient care and work collaboratively with our physicians and staff to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive care to patients with cardiovascular conditions, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of chronic and acute conditions.
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans in collaboration with our physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote healthy lifestyle choices and improve health outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in cardiovascular care and participate in ongoing education and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Nursing or related field.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Tennessee.
  • Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner in Cardiology.
  • Experience working in a cardiovascular care setting, preferably in a hospital or clinic setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
