Job Overview

The Aircraft Systems Maintenance Specialist will play a critical role in supporting the repair and manufacturing of F-15 ACES II Ejection Seats and associated systems. This position requires expertise in troubleshooting, repairing, and modifying test systems for various aircraft ordnance systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair complex systems using electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic principles.
  • Install, adjust, and align aircraft egress, jettison, and rocket launching ordnance systems.
  • Interpret technical orders, manuals, blueprints, and other technical information to ensure accurate repairs.
  • Test and troubleshoot systems to identify malfunctions and determine corrective actions.
  • Repair or replace components such as indicators, timers, intervalometers, valves, cylinders, solenoids, resistors, explosive shape charges, oxygen regulators, and actuators.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of recent verifiable experience in aircraft systems maintenance.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations, practices, and procedures involved in ordnance systems maintenance.
  • Skill in the use of test equipment and measuring devices such as leak detectors, feeler gauges, dial indicators, micrometers, bore sight tools, multimeters, voltmeters, and ammeters.
  • Knowledge of various parts, components, subsystems, and assemblies.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively.
