Position Overview

As a Ground Support Equipment Mechanic 2 at Northrop Grumman, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing aircraft ground support equipment. This critical role requires a high level of technical expertise and attention to detail to ensure the efficient operation of our aircraft maintenance facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct progressive maintenance & inspections on ground support equipment to provide maximum availability and minimize downtime
  2. Execute maintenance, upkeep, inventory, and troubleshooting of deployed ground support equipment
  3. Diagnose malfunctions, including electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, fault isolation, and repair
  4. Maintain status of inspections and maintenance in CORRIDOR database inventory tool

Requirements:
  • High School diploma
  • At least 10 years aircraft Ground Support Equipment experience
  • Must be a US citizen
  • Current DoD Secret Security Clearance
  • Possess or quickly obtain US Passport
  • Be able to obtain/maintain a Corporate Travel Card
