Job Summary

The Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) will provide direct services to children, adolescents, and their families in our residential program. This includes evaluation and assessment, medication management, psychotherapy, and education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and manage clients through direct care encounters, including prescription and management of medication, lab orders, and education to clients and families.
  • Update treatment plans weekly and complete documentation according to established standards.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists and other professionals to provide comprehensive care.
  • Assist with patient admissions, including initial evaluations and assessment documentation.
  • Provide collateral contact to patient families and outpatient providers.
  • Assist with utilization reviews and discharge recommendations.
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in nursing from an accredited institution.
  • Licensed as a nurse practitioner in the state of Washington.
  • Current DEA license.
  • Minimum two years' experience working with adolescents in a residential environment preferred.
