Professional Land Surveyor

Bohannan Huston is seeking a full-time experienced Professional Land Surveyor to work in our Albuquerque, NM office. As a Professional Land Surveyor in our Survey Technologies group, you will be involved in numerous tasks, including project scoping and estimating, Boundary Surveys - Right-of-Way, Boundary, and ALTAs, Advanced Geodetic Surveys, Engineering Surveys - topographic mapping and location surveys, GIS surveys, managing field crews, managing projects and budgets.
Key Responsibilities- Hold a current Professional Surveyor license in the state of New Mexico or be able to sit for the NMPS exam within six months of hire date.
- Have a 4-Year Degree in Surveying Engineering, Geomatics Engineering, Geomatics or related field from an accredited institution.
- Have 2 to 5+ years of demonstrated surveying experience.
- Have advanced Geodetic and Boundary surveying skills.
- Have experience with GPS and Total Station surveying tools, preferred.
- Have experience with aerial or mobile LiDAR platforms and software, preferred.
- Have strong technical skills, including experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS platforms, database environments.
- Have the ability to work independently, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Have the ability to manage field crews, projects and budgets.
