Nurse Specialist

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Neurotherapeutics team in Lexington, Massachusetts.
About the RoleWe are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our Neurotherapeutics department. As a Registered Nurse, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional care to patients with neurological conditions.
Responsibilities- Provide immediate and long-term nursing care needs of patients receiving ECT/TMS/Ketamine within the standards of the department, hospital, and regulatory agencies.
- Work within the treatment team to provide pre-treatment assessment, treatment monitoring, and post-anesthesia recovery management for individuals.
- Use multiple data sources to determine actual/potential health issues, functional status, and safety concerns, and communicate patient condition and need for altered care with the treatment team.
- Establish a therapeutic alliance with assigned patients, initiate and continue pulse oximetry, oxygen saturation, and EKG monitoring throughout treatment and recovery.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, BSN preferred.
- No experience required, one year medical/psychiatric experience preferred.
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- All employees must possess basic computer skills to use a variety of electronic or online systems for communication, clinical, and administrative purposes.
