Civil Project Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Lead Project Engineer to join our team at CESO. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for overseeing the design and preparation of engineering construction documentation, specifications, and details for multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:- Support civil engineers in the daily planning, coordination, and completion of projects under the direction of a project manager.
- Research design criteria based on project scope and jurisdictional requirements.
- Perform site design construction documents to include site layouts, grading, storm water, roadway, and utility layouts using Civil 3D.
- Conduct site design calculations and analysis based on researched codes and regulations to apply it to assigned tasks.
- Provide thorough and accurate documentation of calculations.
- Complete site investigation and due diligence reports.
- Compare design options and document findings to produce detailed civil engineering studies and reports.
- Review technical and civil engineering drawings and make revisions accordingly.
- Recommend continuous improvement solutions for site designs.
- Attend client meetings.
- Be a resource for internal department managers to facilitate cost estimates and design concepts.
- Manage junior team members by providing project direction.
- Motivate team members through the creation of a positive work environment by providing mentoring, coaching, and training to assist in professional development.
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
- Professional Engineer Licensure (PE) is preferred.
- 4+ years of professional experience.
- Proficient in the use of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, AutoTurn, HydroCAD Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to motivate and mentor a team.
