Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Direct Support Professional Supervisor to join our team at Coarc. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our designated program location and ensuring appropriate staff coverage.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and support the development of staff, providing training and orientation as needed.
  • Conduct routine meetings with program staff to discuss issues, concerns, and plans for significant events.
  • Ensure proper use of individuals' funds and provide instruction in financial matters to staff as necessary.
  • Assist individuals in maintaining a comfortable, orderly, and clean environment, and support them in enjoying life by teaching them to care for their surroundings.
  • Encourage and support individuals to take part in volunteer, educational, recreational, and work activities in their community.
  • Provide medication administration support to individuals as needed, and comply with all Agency policies and procedures relative to medication administration.
  • Participate in the development and review of each individual's service planning meetings, and advocate for changes on their behalf when necessary.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED (now called TASC).
  • One year's experience working with individuals with disabilities.
  • Exceptional written, communication, and computer skills.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • Ability to be certified in all required trainings.
  • Occasionally required to lift to 50 pounds.
