Job Summary

We are seeking a Civil or Environmental Engineer with solid waste/landfill experience to join our Southeast Engineering and Remediation team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, 1-4 years of relevant experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.

Responsibilities
  • Engineering design, team support, and project management on waste resources engineering projects
  • Landfill design, permitting, and construction planning
  • Stormwater management, erosion control, and drainage design
  • Leachate system design, management, and treatment
  • Landfill gas collection and control system design
  • Facility siting, design, and construction management
  • Landfill capacity analysis and financial assurance
  • Odor assessment and mitigation, tracer gas studies, and ambient air monitoring
Qualifications
  • EIT preferred or ability to obtain in six months
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an accredited university
  • 1-4 years of landfill design experience
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
