Metals Fabrication Project Lead

We are seeking an experienced Metals Fabrication Project Lead to join our team at Atlas Metal Works, LLC. As a key member of our commercial metal fabrication house, you will play a crucial role in overseeing projects from design to finished product.
Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum (depending on experience and qualifications)
Job OverviewIn this challenging and rewarding position, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with customers by providing excellent service and quality products at the best value we can offer.
- You will interact with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions that meet their requirements.
- Develop AMW customer base and service their needs through effective communication and project management.
- Able to think critically and make decisions with limited supervision.
The successful candidate will have the following key responsibilities:
- Presents prepared estimates by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information.
- Manages the approval process to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Prepare drawings and/or sketches and work orders for release to Production.
- Submits and tracks project shop drawings and submittals.
- Buys out materials and outside vendors as needed.
- Creates and submits weekly invoices to Accounts Receivable for billing.
- Updates fabrication schedules to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Able to accurately field measure site conditions as required.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:
- In-depth knowledge of metal fabrication processes and techniques.
- Outstanding communication ability to effectively interact with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CAD software.
