Position Overview:
We are currently seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support our Project Management team in overseeing construction projects within the Life Science sector. This role involves assisting in various stages of project execution, including budgeting, bidding, cost management, and client interaction through to project completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and organize all project documentation and coordination tasks, including pre-construction evaluations, site logistics, and project completion checklists.
  • Actively participate in internal discussions such as scope reviews and project kick-offs, while also leading weekly project coordination meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with contract stipulations, manage submission documents, and oversee their timely review and approval.
  • Facilitate the RFI process by creating and tracking Requests for Information, identifying construction challenges, and assisting the design team in responding.
  • Coordinate project-specific schedules for trades to ensure effective communication and adherence to contractual timelines.
  • Distribute construction drawings, shop drawings, and project timelines to subcontractors and site personnel to maintain project flow.
  • Engage in industry events, client presentations, and career fairs as necessary.
  • Serve as a mentor and professional role model for interns, project engineers, and new assistant project managers.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or Engineering is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on Tenant Improvement in commercial construction.
  • Experience in constructing laboratories and clean rooms is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with Procore software is advantageous.
