Job Summary

Under the direction of the Market Director of Education, the Clinical Educator will execute and adapt Tenet's organizational education strategic plan and manage educational activities for San Ramon Regional Medical Center. The successful candidate will support organization-wide staff development by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating programs for the hospital staff and community members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement educational programs for hospital staff and community members
  • Assess and evaluate program effectiveness
  • Collaborate with Market Director of Education to develop and implement education strategic plan
  • Provide educational support to hospital staff and community members
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory agency requirements, Board of Registered Nurses (BRN) guidelines, and continuing education accreditation standards
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree strongly preferred
  • Five (5) years of recent experience in acute care setting, prefer Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) experience
  • Demonstrated experience in acute-care based education program development and management
  • Demonstrated teaching ability
  • Intermediate Excel proficiency
  • Current license to practice professional nursing in the State of California
