Job Summary

The Senior Systems Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, test, and implement state-of-the-art secure operating systems, networks, and database products.
  • Analyze complex systems at the deepest levels to include concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal.
  • Develop new systems, applications, and solutions for external customer enterprise-wide systems and networks.
  • Integrate, test, and ship complete systems for assigned deployment projects.
  • Provide customized updates to existing site-specific pre-deployment checklists.
  • Integrate and test each complete system in accordance with pre-deployment checklists and site-specific test procedures.
  • De-install, pack, and ship each system in accordance with pre-deployment checklists.
  • Recommend site-specific modifications to documentation and/or training materials to ensure successful deployment.
  • Provide high-quality cross-domain services to meet DoD Raise the Bar initiatives.
  • Manage hardware and inventory control for classified and unclassified configuration end items.
  • Maintain and update existing inventory control-tracking systems.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in Systems Engineering.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and clearly present technical approaches and findings.
  • Work is performed with minimal supervision.
  • Exercises considerable latitude in determining technical objectives of assignments.
Language Skills

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures and governmental regulations.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
