Job Title: Assistant Director of Nursing Services

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Assistant Director of Nursing Services to join our team. As a key member of our nursing leadership team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional clinical care and services to our residents in accordance with federal, state, and local standards and Sunrise Senior Living policies.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and develop a team of skilled nursing professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality resident services.
  • Direct and assist in clinical care, ensuring consistent delivery of quality resident services.
  • Assist the Director of Nursing Services in maintaining the skilled nursing budget, including labor expenses, medical supplies, and census management.
  • Understand and assist with the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process.
  • Review and assist in case management of both Medicare and non-Medicare residents.
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an approved college or school of nursing.
  • Maintains a current state license as a Registered Nurse (RN) per state regulations.
  • One (1) year of supervisory and nurse management experience, including hiring staff, coaching, performance management, daily operations supervision, discipline, and counseling in a nursing environment.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of nursing practices, techniques, and methods as applied to skilled nursing.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of federal, state, and local long-term care regulations.
  • Competent in the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI).
