We are seeking an experienced Electronics Maintenance Technician to join our team at Northrop Grumman in Warner Robins, Georgia. As an Electronics Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for applying advanced technical knowledge to solve complex problems and exercising independent judgment in performing tasks such as circuit analysis, waveform calculation, and signal flow tracing.
Key Responsibilities- Apply advanced technical knowledge to solve complex problems that cannot be solved solely by referencing manufacturers' manuals or similar documents.
- Isolate malfunctions to component level and incorporate engineering design changes.
- Exercise independent judgment in performing tasks such as circuit analysis, waveform calculation, and signal flow tracing.
- Use complex test instruments such as high frequency pulse generators and complex computer control equipment.
- Must have a High school diploma or equivalent (GED) and at least 8 years of experience with relevant electronics/electrical repair experience.
- Must have an interim or active U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance and be able to maintain Secret Clearance.
- Must be able to work any shift and work on-site in Warner Robins, Georgia.
- Associate's degree or appropriate Military Occupational Specialty in electronics repair (or related field) with a minimum of 6 years of electronics/electrical repair experience.
- Bachelor's degree or appropriate Military Occupational Specialty in electronics repair (or related field) with a minimum of 4 years of electronics/electrical repair experience.
- Work experience in manufacturing automated test equipment.
- Work experience with tight timelines in highly visible situations.
- Work experience in high-demanding stressful environments.
- An in-depth understanding of the interrelationships of circuits.
- Ability to perform recurring work independently.
- Ability to perform non-routine and complex assignments involving responsibility for planning and conducting a complete project.
