Job Summary

Seeking a skilled Aircraft Technician to join our team at Tyonek Native Corporation. As an Aircraft Technician, you will be responsible for installing, modifying, and maintaining complex electronic systems on various aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, modify, and overhaul integrated electronic systems
  • Set up and operate automated test equipment to test and troubleshoot systems
  • Use and maintain hand and power tools, precision measurement tools, and test equipment
  • Perform pre-test, operational, or final testing of electronic systems, components, or subassemblies
  • Interpret complex drawings, specifications, and schematics

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • At least four years of recent verifiable experience in electronic systems repair
  • Knowledge of electronic theories and practices of complex integrated systems
  • Ability to read, interpret, and trace drawings and schematic diagrams
  • US Citizenship required
  • Must be able to pass a background check and obtain a Secret Clearance

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to walk and stand on level and/or inclined surfaces for certain periods
  • Ability to climb stairs, ramps, ladders, and work stands
  • Ability to crouch, crawl, grasp or handle objects, use finger dexterity, bend elbow/knee, and reach above/below shoulders
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to read dials/gauges, identify small objects, and hand tools
  • Ability to see imperfections, micrometer readings, and other small scales
  • Ability to communicate by voice and detect sound by ear
  • Ability to distinguish color and judge three-dimensional depth
