Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality patient care in a cardiac rehabilitation setting, focusing on physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient needs, goals, and medical history.
- Conduct thorough assessments, monitor patient progress, and adjust care plans as needed.
- Lead exercise sessions, providing guidance and support to patients, and ensuring a safe and effective exercise environment.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams, providing education and support to promote patient understanding and empowerment.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices and policies.
- Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multistate Registered Nurse license.
- Current BLS and ACLS Certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing. BSN is desirable.
- Experience in cardiac rehabilitation or a related field is preferred.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
