Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Rehabilitation team at Rose Medical Center. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to patients with cardiac conditions, promoting their physical and emotional well-being, and helping them achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized care to patients with cardiac conditions, including those with heart failure, coronary artery disease, and other cardiovascular disorders.
  • Develop and implement personalized rehabilitation plans, taking into account each patient's unique needs and goals.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, including physical examinations, medical histories, and laboratory tests, to identify patients' strengths and areas for improvement.
  • Lead exercise sessions, educate patients on healthy lifestyle habits, and provide emotional support to promote overall well-being.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including cardiologists, primary care physicians, and physical therapists, to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Document patient progress, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions to optimize care.
Requirements
  • Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse.
  • Current BLS and ACLS Certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing. BSN is desirable.
  • Cardiac rehabilitation experience preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of exercise physiology, nutrition, cardiac risk factor, and behavioral modification strategies.
  • Ability to perform cardiovascular physical assessments, accurately interpret clinical data, and triage medical care as appropriate.
