About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer to join our innovative Platform Service Delivery team at FIS Global. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the high stability, reduced Service Downtime, and improved Quality of Service for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in day-to-day activities of operating the payment infrastructure
  • Lead incident triage calls and follow up on root cause analysis
  • Configure and deploy product releases into production and verify for quality work
  • Develop monitoring and alerting for payments platform
  • Help identify repetitive non-value adding tasks and automate them
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 2-3 years of experience in building and supporting application infrastructure in a private and/or public cloud
  • Automation tools associated with infrastructure as code, deployment, and configuration management (Ansible, Terraform, Helm, Harness)
  • Knowledgeable of engineering practices (source control systems, release and deployment patterns)
  • Hands-on experience in engineering environments (Cloud Service Providers (Azure), Private Cloud)
  • Experienced with engineering deployment technologies (containers, databases, packages)
  • 2-3 years of change management experience on ITSM tools like Service Now
  • Experience initiating and leading or participating in resolution of incidents
  • 2-3 years of experience developing and implementing effective monitoring on standard tools similar to Splunk and Dynatrace
