We are seeking a part-time Licensed Mental Health Professional to join our team at the Youth Detention Center in Baltimore, Maryland. The successful candidate will provide mental health case management services to patients in a correctional setting and consult with a multi-disciplinary team to provide comprehensive mental health care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide mental health case management services to patients in a correctional setting
- Consult with a multi-disciplinary team to provide comprehensive mental health care
- Conduct intake and assessments, crisis intervention, treatment planning, and provide individual and group therapy
Requirements:
- Master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field from an accredited educational institution
- Active mental health professional license in Maryland (LCSW-C or LCPC)
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience providing direct care to individuals with mental illness
- Must show/obtain current Purified Protein Derivative (PPD) documentation for tuberculosis screening
- Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable
Available Shift:
Part-time, Mondays to Fridays, 5pm - 9pm
