About the Role

The Orthodontic Assistant plays a vital role in the success of our dental practice, Dental Excellence Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating a positive patient experience, assisting the orthodontist with various procedures, and ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Care: Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring that patients feel comfortable and at ease during their visit.
  • Assisting the Orthodontist: Assist the orthodontist with a wide range of procedures, including bonding and debonding of braces, making adjustments, and seating appliances.
  • Administrative Tasks: Update patient health histories, take x-rays, and complete clinical notes in a timely manner.
  • Lab and Sterilization: Ensure that the lab area is clean, organized, and adheres to OSHA compliance standards. Sterilize instruments and maintain the sterilization area.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine equipment maintenance and upkeep to ensure that our equipment is in good working order.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and management to ensure that our patients receive the best possible care.
