Orthodontic Assistant

At Dental Excellence Group, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Orthodontic Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our orthodontic department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our orthodontists in delivering high-quality treatment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist orthodontists with a wide range of procedures, including bonding and debonding of braces, making adjustments, and seating appliances.
- Take patient records, update patient health histories, and ensure that all lab cases are logged in.
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain a clean and organized lab area.
- Take x-rays, check lab cases, and complete clinical notes in patients' charts.
- Use software to upload photos for new patient presentations and ensure that all necessary supplies are ordered and stocked.
- Knowledge of dentistry and orthodontics.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
