Key Responsibilities:

  • Work in close partnership with the plant leadership to execute cost-saving and efficiency initiatives.
  • Oversee month-end and year-end financial closing processes and deliver comprehensive reports to essential stakeholders.
  • Support the creation of plant Bill of Materials (BOMs), routing, and standard costing to maximize financial outcomes.
  • Conduct financial assessments of capital investments to aid in informed decision-making.
  • Facilitate the formulation of financial operating plans and assist in monthly forecasting efforts.
  • Perform thorough financial and strategic evaluations to inform business decisions and investments.
  • Engage in special analysis projects to uncover trends and provide insightful contributions to financial planning.
  • Refine financial processes and methodologies to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls and compliance requirements, including the coordination of regular control evaluations.
  • May undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting, or equivalent experience, with at least 7 years in manufacturing cost accounting.
  • Experience with SAP is preferred, but familiarity with other major ERP systems is acceptable.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong financial insight, analytical capabilities, problem-solving skills, and business understanding.
  • Proficient in planning, analysis, and business modeling for financial operations.
  • Able to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Skilled in Excel for data analysis and modeling, with a strong command of the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Minimal travel is anticipated, with the role primarily based at the facility, offering some remote work flexibility.
