About the Role

Cleveland Clinic's Taussig Cancer Institute is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team on the G70 Hematology/Oncology unit. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to adult patients with cancer diagnoses.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients with cancer diagnoses, including administering chemotherapy and supporting patients through their treatment journey.
  • Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Monitor patient condition, record and communicate updates to the healthcare team, and implement changes to care plans as needed.
  • Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs, ensuring a smooth transition to post-acute care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in oncology nursing.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • ONS Chemo/Bio course completion within 2 years of employment.
