Job Summary:
Cleveland Clinic is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Med/Surg Unit. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional patient care and work collaboratively with our dedicated nursing staff to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to a diverse range of medical and surgical patients
- Develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans to ensure optimal outcomes
- Monitor and record patients' conditions, administering prescribed medications and treatments as needed
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to coordinate care and ensure seamless transitions
- Assess and coordinate patients' discharge needs, ensuring a smooth transition to post-acute care
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and evidence-based care
Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- One year of current acute care RN experience (military RN experience considered)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
