Job Summary

Cleveland Clinic's Mentor Hospital is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Med/Surg Unit. As a member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our dedicated nursing staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients with a wide range of medical and surgical conditions
  • Implement, monitor, evaluate, and update patient care plans to ensure optimal care
  • Monitor and record patients' conditions, administering prescribed medications and treatments as needed
  • Note and carry out physician and nursing orders, assessing and coordinating patients' discharge needs
  • Educate patients and their families on their care and treatment
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • One year of current acute care RN experience (will consider military RN experience)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
