Job Overview:

The J.R. Simplot Company is a leader in the food and agriculture industry, with a strong commitment to environmental sustainability. As an Environmental Project Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring regulatory compliance and driving continuous improvement in our operations.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage plant wastewater and associated reuse permit, coordinating with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams.
  • Oversight of production containment systems, including review and analysis of groundwater monitoring data.
  • Support site groundwater monitoring program through contractor support and oversight.
  • Coordinate with CERCLA manager, consultants, operations, and maintenance groups to ensure efficient operation of the groundwater extraction system.
  • Monitor and report on plant-wide water balance, including water usage and reclaim.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in a relevant field from a 4-year college or university, engineering degree preferred.
  • At least 5 years demonstrated experience in environmental compliance or project management.

Benefits:

This role offers a competitive salary of $95,000 - $110,000 per year, based on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.
