Clinical Pharmacist Consultant Position

Job Summary: This role will provide expert clinical guidance and decision-making support, leveraging evidence-based medicine to optimize medication choices for efficacy, safety, and affordability. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical pharmacy, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently within established frameworks and guidelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality pharmacy clinical services for Medication Benefit Management.
  • Provide evidence-based clinical decision-making to determine medications with the best value for efficacy and safety.
  • Analyze and interpret healthcare cost information to forecast trends and identify opportunities for quality improvement and cost-effective prescription drug programs.
  • Present clinical positions on medication analysis in a clear and concise manner.
  • Identify, develop, implement, and track complex cross-functional programs, projects, and initiatives.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (Ph.D.) and 3-5 years of experience in clinical acute care/hospital settings. You should also possess a strong clinical pharmacy background, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a cross-functional team.

Salary Range: $115,000 - $140,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
