Medication Specialist Role

We are seeking a skilled Medication Specialist to join our team at Middlesex Human Service Agency.
This role is critical in advancing our mission to deliver high-quality, person-centered services. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe, effective, and BSAS-compliant distribution, storage, management, and self-administration of medications for participants of the Answer House Program.
Key responsibilities include maintaining open and professional communication with clients, staff, and external contacts; ensuring the privacy and confidentiality of clients and staff in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and MHSA policies; and conducting thorough assessments of clients' treatment plans and managing prescribed medications.
The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years' experience in medication management, a fundamental knowledge of substance abuse and its treatment, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
